John Wollenberg has 35 years of experience in all areas of tax law, including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts, estates tax/planning, and personal financial and retirement planning.

John is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In addition, he is admitted as an attorney to the New York Bar and United States Tax Court and is a former member of the New York Bar Association. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Taxation at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has authored various tax articles, including a book on “Pension Plans for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses.” He has appeared as a guest on several cable television programs. John has also earned the AICPA designation of Personal Financial Specialist.

John is a graduate of the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Major in Accounting. He also received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a Law Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

He recently rejoined The Green Group after working twelve years as a tax director with a regional CPA firm. When not working, John enjoys spending time with his family.
